On February 27th, 2019 Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) presented on their Energy & Utilities opportunities. JVS helps job seekers from all walks of life. They provide services at no cost and specialize in helping individuals who: are looking for work for the first time in months or years, have been our of the workforce for more than 6 months, and individuals who have held a series of low wage jobs that would like to find a rewarding and sustainable career pathway with more stability and opportunities for professional advancement. JVS presented on employment opportunities in the energy and power fields through their Utility Programs & Employment Program and informed our young adults of training opportunities to provide them with exposure to the field. Our corpsmembers were thrilled to learn about rewarding career opportunities and engage in direct dialogue with a future employer.
